An Orange County man has been arrested after several incidences of alleged unwanted sexual touching in department stores including Target and Walmart according to police.

Last week the New York State Police took to social media to try and help identify a man they were interested in talking to after several incidences of unwanted sexual touching in department stores were reported.

New York State Police Monroe Troop F posted the pictures above on Facebook last week after the unidentified man allegedly targeted female shoppers at Target and Walmart and initiated unwanted physical contact that was sexual in nature.

Hudson Valley Man Arrested Charged With Forcible Touching

A day after posting the pictures the NYSP announced on Facebook that they had not only identified the suspect but already had him in custody. According to police because of the public's help, they were able to locate and arrest Jayden Rivers in Monroe, New York, and charge him with Forcible Touching and Stalking 3rd degree after he allegedly assaulted women in local department stores in the Monroe and Chester, NY areas.

"New York State Police would like to thank the public for their assistance in the arrest of Jayden Rivers in Monroe, NY. Rivers was arrested and charged with Forcible Touching and Stalking 3rd degree."

Police Looking for Other Victims

After announcing the arrest of Rivers (above) the NYSP asked anyone else who feels they may have been a victim or knows of anyone who may have been a victim of Rivers to contact Investigator Robert Baird or Investigator Jennifer Peters at the State Police Bureau of Criminal Investigation (BCI) Monroe at 845-782-8311.
