Police Investigating Latest Homicide in Kingston, New York
The alleged incident occurred on Sunday, June 2nd.
The City of Kingston Police Department (KPD) is currently investigating a homicide that reportedly happened sometime Sunday, June 2nd in the area of Meade Street according to a post on the department's Facebook page.

KPD didn't share any details as this is still an active investigation that is being handled by numerous law enforcement agencies including the Town of Ulster Police Department, New York State Police, the Ulster County District Attorney's Office, Ulster County Sherriff's Office and The Ulster County Medical Examiners Office. Witnesses in the Meade Street Area of Kingston have said that police have had the street taped off for hours as they conducted their investigation.
Police did say there is no threat to the public at this time and they expect to release more information soon. Until more information becomes available authorities are asking the public to refrain from speculating on social media as this appears to be an extremely sensitive situation.
