Five Places to Enjoy Pancakes and More this Month

Now that Spring has arrived, it will be easy to fill your calendar with events at your local fire department. Here is a quick list of a few events you can attend in April. Check in at your local firehouse to see what they have going on this Spring and be sure to ask about volunteering.

Events in April at Hudson Valley Firehouses

Saturday, April 5th, 2025 - The Saint Remy Volunteer Fire Department will host an Italian Dinner (Baked Ziti) from 5:30 PM to 8:30 PM at 564 Main Street in St. Remy, New York. Meals are $18 if pre-ordered and $20 at the door. Call today to order your meal (845) 407-0233.

Sunday, April 6th, 2025 - The Ulster Hose Ladies Auxiliary will host a Pancake Breakfast at Ulster Hose Company #5 at 830 Ulster Avenue in Kingston from 8 AM to 11:30 AM. They are taking donations at the door for sit-down or take-out.

Sunday, April 6th, 2025 - The Pine Bush Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a Pancake Breakfast from 7 AM to 12 PM at the Fire House on 2405 Route 52 in Pine Bush. It is all you can eat with pancakes, OJ, French toast, and more. Plus, they have a raffle for a Huge Breakfast Basket.

Sunday, April 6th, 2025 - The Esopus Fire Department is hosting an All You Can Eat Pancake Breakfast, and this will be their last one for the year. It will be held at the firehouse on 9W, also known as 1142 Broadway in Esopus, from 8:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Donations will be accepted and benefit the fire department's memorial plaque fund.

Sunday, April 6th, 2025 - The Port Ewen Fire Dept Ladies Auxiliary is hosting a Penny Social at the Port Ewen Volunteer Fire Dept Headquarters on 129 Legion Court, in Port Ewen. Doors open at 12 PM with calling starting at 2 PM. Refreshments will be available for purchase.

Hudson Valley Firehouse to Host a Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

Sunday, April 13th, 2025 - The Tillison Fire Department and Auxiliary will host its Pancake Breakfast with the Easter Bunny from 8 AM to 11 AM at the firehouse on 5 Tillison Road. Everyone is invited to this free event, donations are welcome. Enjoy breakfast, grab a family photo, and a goodie bag. Breakfast will include pancakes, home fries, sausage, pastries, coffee, tea, OJ, and Water.

Friday & Saturday, April 18th and 19th,2025 - The Pine Bush Fire Department Ladies Auxiliary is holding an Easter Flower Sale from 9 AM to 3 PM at the Firehouse on 2405 Route 52 in Pine Bush. Come meet the Easter Bunny, there will be flowers and Easter baskets for sale plus a money tree and raffles.

Sunday, May 4th, 2025 - The Marlboro Hose Company Number 1 is hosting a Pancake Breakfast at the Marlboro Firehouse on 14 Grand Street in Marlboro. Enjoy pancakes, scrambled eggs, sausage, juice, and coffee. Donations are appreciated. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. Enjoy a 50/50 raffle and a tour of the firehouse which will include being able to see the new truck, 38-30.
