"Can't Miss" Four Things To Do in 2025 New York

One of my favorite things to do at the beginning of December is to get my next year's calendar book. I still like to keep an actual day planner. I realize in these days and times most people keep their schedule on their computer or phone but I still enjoy an actual calendar.

Every year in December I order my Llewellyn's Calendar. I get one for my wall and then the daily planner to carry around at work. Once I have my calendar I start penciling things I want to do the following year. I have been busy making plans for 2025.

Events You Will Want to Attend in 2025: Save the Date

It is a New Year ritual for me to hit an events page or two and start plotting out the fun things I want to get to in 2025. I find if I pencil them in I am less likely to forget about an event and therefore I will save the date. I don't always get to everything I pencil in but that's why it's in pencil.

So what is happening in 2025 so far that you may want to put on your calendar?

Celebrate Maple Sugar in the Catskills in March

Maple Fest 2025 at the Asokan Center in Olivebridge. Maple Fest is happening on Saturday, March 8th from 10 AM to 3 PM. There will be tree tapping and maple syrup demonstrations. Plus a Blacksmithing demonstration where for a $20 fee you can make a take-home project. for an additional cost enjoy pancakes and refreshments. This event is open to all ages. Buy tickets early it does sell out. Tickets are $10, $12 the day of and Kids under $5 are free.

A Unique Car Show is Schedule in May in Orange County

The First Antique Annual Fire Apparatus and Emergency Vehicle Show Fundraiser. Coldenham Fire-Rescue presents this event at the Orange County Farmer's Museum on Route 17K in Montgomery on Saturday, May 10th, 2025 from 10 AM to 3 PM. Enjoy Classic cars and vintage fire apparatus on display. To show a car the fee is $20, to show an apparatus it is $25. Admission is free. Food and drink will be available for purchase.

TAP New York Returns in June to East Durham New York

TAP New York Craft Beer Festival and Music Fest is back for 2025 at the Blackthorne Resort in East Durham. It is a weekend event from June 28th through June 30th, 2025. Save the Date for the Rosendale International Pickle Festival 2025

The 28th Annual Rosendale International Pickle Festival. Once again all things delicious and pickle will descend on the Ulster County Fair Grounds on Sunday, October 19th, 2025. Enjoy a day filled with Vendors, food, and fun all dedicated to the pickle. The event is from 10 AM to 5 PM. Tickets are only $5 each and kids under 12 are free. No Pets, please.
