Don't Miss The Blood Moon Total Lunar Eclipse Coming in March
The moon will look a little different next month for a brief moment in time.
On March 3rd, 2026, according to a post by Meteorologist Brantly Keiek, we will experience a total lunar eclipse.
The next time we have a total lunar eclipse moment that will be visible from the US will be on New Year's Eve...2028.
You're not going to want to miss it this time around. Keiek explains that the moon will turn a "deep red as Earth's shadow fully covers it."
The total lunar eclipse will last around an hour, at 58 minutes which Keiek states is "one of the longest and most dramatic lunar events of the year."
