One of the best candy shops in America is located right here in the Hudson Valley.

USA Today was at it again, searching for the 10Best Candy Stores across the nation. The experts from USA Today scoured all 50 states and put together a list of 20 independent candy stores that met their criteria.

From there, the public voted daily on their favorites.

Well, the votes are in and they have been tallied. A Hudson Valley favorite has made it into the top 10...again!

Samuel's Sweet Shop in Rhinebeck has been named one of the 10Best Independent Candy Shops in the US coming in at #9.

Samuel's Sweet Shop Going for #1 Spot Next Year

Samuel's announced the news on social media and has a hefty goal for next year.

They write:

 This beloved neighborhood candy and coffee boutique is co-owned by actors Paul Rudd and Jeffrey Dean Morgan, plus a few other longtime customers, who all stepped in to save the store from closing after the original owner passed suddenly in 2014.

Samuel's is located on East Market Street and open Monday through Sunday 7:30 am until 9am (Mon-Thur), 10 pm (Sat-Sun).

Jonas Brothers Visit Samuel's on Snowy HV Getaway

Samuel's got a shoutout a few weeks ago on popular podcast.

The Jonas Brothers (Nick, Joe and Kevin) launched a new podcast called "Hey Jonas" and one of their first guests was Paul Rudd.

Paul joined the JoBro's to talk about his new movie Power Ballad which he stars in alongside Nick Jonas.

Nick and Joe revisited their trip to the Hudson Valley back in December 2025. It was right after the holidays and a huge snowstorm blew through the region.

The Jonas' basically got snowed in in Rhinebeck and walked around town, making a stop in Samuel's.
