How Many Holes in a Straw?
Do you think a straw has one hole or two?
In a time when everywhere you turn people are complaining about something, we thought we would try and have a good ole debate this morning about something that really doesn't matter.
The question of a straw having one hole or two started over the weekend on social media, according to Buzzfeed, when Jess Marfisi from Burbank, California posted a question on Twitter. Quote, "We had a riveting discussion about this at lunch, but I want to hear from all of you: Does a straw have one or two holes?"
I started the conversation on the show today thinking that a straw has two holes, if you look at a straw it has a hole on the top and a hole on the bottom, right?
A few people agreed with me to start then we started getting calls from people that had pretty strong arguments for a straw only having one hole. One lady put it like this, does a glazed donut have one or two holes? I say one, she says if you make that donut 8 inches tall how many holes does it have now? I say one. Point made!
