A Frighteningly Popular Theme Weekend Returns to Catskill Drive-In
Don't let this summer pass by without planning a trip to one of the Hudson Valley's many Drive-In Theaters. So many of them have big blockbuster weekends planned full of your favorite movies, and one Drive-In is already letting you know to save a date for this fall.
Horror Marathon Weekend Returns to New York Drive-In Theater
Many of the Hudson Valley Drive-In plan special movie weekends with themes. You can follow your favorite Drive-In on social media to see what they are planning. I try to keep my eye on them as well, so I can spread the word.
Early last week, The Hi-Way Drive-In located in Coxsackie, New York, shared that one of their popular movie weekends will be returning in September of 2025. For the 14th year, you can plan to attend the Annual Dead Til Dawn Horror Festival.
This is a big weekend of horror movies that include horror favorites like The Lost Boys, The Blob, and a movie called Frankenhooker. Not sure about that last one, but in total, the weekend will show 11 horror films from Friday, September 12th, through Sunday, the 14th. They even offer a sleepover option.

Other drive-ins to keep an eye on for movie weekends in 2025 would be Fair Oaks Drive-In in Middletown and Four Brothers Drive-In in Amenia. At the moment, two other Drive-Ins have not updated their 2025 calendar yet, and those would be Overlook Drive-In in Poughkeepsie and The Hyde Park Drive-In, which may not open at all again this year.
