Growing up in Orange County, we had a drive-in right up the road in Newburgh on 9W. It is long since gone. In 2012, it became a Quickchek, but in 1980 it was the place to see a movie on a Saturday Night.

Other Drive Ins are bound to be announcing their opening weekends soon. The beginning of this week, Four Brothers Drive In, located in Amenia, New York, marked their 12th Anniversary with a post on Facebook.

Fair Oaks Drive In, located in the heart of Middletown, New York, is sure to offer another summer of fun in front of the big screen. They wrapped up the season last year with a Trunk or Treat.
