Here’s How Your Halloween Candy Breaks Down to 100 Calories
I don't think I need to remind anyone that last night was Halloween.
I'm sure many of you are scrambling to either get rid of your kids Halloween candy or hide the evidence that you, the adult, stole their candy and gave yourself a stomach ache. Likely hood is that candy is going to be hanging around your house for at least two or three weeks.
If you're anything like me, your will power is probably shot. You see candy, you're going to eat it. That's my mentality.
So for your, and my, convenience below are the calorie count for some of the most popular Halloween candy as well as the suggested serving size that will get you to 100 calories. I say suggested because who is really only going to have two Butterfingers?
According to Readers Digest.....
14 pieces of candy corn are 100 calories
4.3 Tootsie Rolls average out to 100 calories
With Dots it will take you 8.5 pieces to get to 100 calories
9.3 delicious malted Whoppers will get you to 100 calories
and 95% of a full sized Reese Peanut Butter cup is 100 calories alone.
Have fun eating all that candy!
I know I'm already regretting half of my life choices over the last 24 hours.
