You are invite to join the New Paltz community this Sunday as they come together for a delicious event that is designed to help combat hunger in the local area. Empty Bowls 2017 will be held Sunday from 4pm to 9pm at Historic Huguenot Street in New Paltz.

This heart warming and tummy filling event has been put together by a group of people who are hoping to not only bring awareness to the situation of food insecurity in our local communities but actually help make a difference at the same time.

It all starts with donation of $20 or more depending on which one of the unique bowls you select for your soup. Along with the soup you also enjoy bread and dessert. There will be live entertainment while you sit back with friends and family enjoy the soups prepared by local area restaurants and bid on auction items donated from area businesses. Thanks to Local at Heart and some talented local folks who spent time painting beautiful bowls you will get a one of a kind keepsakes that represents your charitable donation. Look for the big white tent with easy access and plenty of parking.
