In 2011, an organization was created in Dutchess County to help assist women with job searching, resume writing, skill development, interview preparation and more. Dress for Success Dutchess County was born and not only do they help with all of the above, they also provide professional clothing for an interview as well as workday wear.

As a result, they have a large inventory of professional attire and accessories and they are about to have their semi-annual inventory liquidation sale. Recognizable name brand blazers, tops, skirts and pants will be priced $5 and up while prices on dresses and suits, start at just $10.

The place to be on October 6, 7, & 9 is the Poughkeepsie Plaza, where Marshall's is located, on Route 9 in Poughkeepsie, in the site across from De’S Jeweler’s.

By having this sale, they accomplish a couple of things. It helps keep their inventory current, so that their clients have up-to-date fashions to wear on interviews and it allows everyone in the community to take advantage of some serious savings while helping Dress for Success continue to serve the Hudson Valley.
