The Ulster County Sheriffs Department is looking for help in locating a second man in an alleged assault in Modena.

The Sheriffs Department has charged one suspect and are seeking another in a beating that left a 21-year-old woman badly injured on Tuesday.

The assault happened at Modena Country Club in Plattekill around midnight on Tuesday. When police responded the found the 21 year old victim semi-conscious and reported that she had been attacked and injured by a group of males.

After investigating police revealed that a group of males went to Modena Country Club to confront another group that the female victim was a part of, stemming from a dispute that occurred a few hours prior. The investigation revealed that the female victim was assaulted by the defendants causing serious physical injuries to her face and body.

Police have charged a 17-year-old boy from Wallkill on Tuesday with second-degree assault, a felony and have asked for the public's help in locating a second suspect.

The second suspect is James Collazo, 19, of Plattekill. He is now wanted on an arrest warrant charging him with second-degree assault.
