It was a matter of time before this happened to me as we have talked about many times on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show about those unnecessary purchases while you are looking around on Amazon.

Like most people I had the day off on Monday and with the weather not being very cooperative I spent a lot of the day inside with not a lot to do and that can be dangerous so close to payday.

I innocently opened up the Amazon app on my phone yesterday with the intentions of ordering my son Jackson the PlayStation 4 NFL game "Madden 20" as a small back to school gift and as soon as I opened up the app I should have known I was in trouble as soon as I saw the "deal of the day."

The deal was a set of some ridiculous Egyptian cotton thread count sheets for a bed that was like 50% off. They had a countdown clock next to it that said there was only like 11 hours left for the deal =, so after thinking for like a second, I clicked on it and added to my cart.

My question is HOW DID AMAZON KNOW that I was thinking about buying some new sheets? I mentioned to Jess the other day that I needed to buy some but never looked at anything on my phone involving sheets. It's like it read my mind, anyway after I clicked on the sheets, I searched and found the video game and wound up spending like $120.

What's the last thing you purchased on Amazon that you had no intentions of buying before you went onto the website? For me, sheets. For Jess, something from the movie Hocus Pocus. LOL. Call the show at 845-473-9431, text us through the Wolf app or leave us a comment on Facebook.
