Do you have a special nickname for the grandma or grandpa in your life?

Most of us are lucky enough to at one point have a set of grandparents in our lives. Some have them now others have passed and whatever your situation is at one point you had to call them something, maybe something as simple as grandma or grandpa or maybe something like one of our favorite country singers Lauren Alaina referring to her grandfather as "Paw Paw".

Is there an alternate name you had for your grandparents when you were growing up? Call or text the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show through the Wolf app NOW! When my grandmother was still around I would either call her "Grams" or "Annie" she would answer to either...LOL!

Jess called her grandfather when she was just a young tike, "Poppy" and as she got older she dropped the "PY" and now calls him "POP" and grandma was simply "grandma."

My kids called my mom, "Nauna" and they call their other grandma "MeMe" which as far as the text messages we are getting today is a pretty poplar nickname for grandmas all across the Hudson Valley.

Tim from Middletown texted us that in his world they called his grandmother "bocce and our grandfather Gray pop". Tara called in to tell us that her grandson Devin calls her "Tat" which came from him trying to say "ta ta" short for Tara..LOL

If you have an alternate nickname for grandma or grandpa call or text us so when can show your grandparents some love on the air!
