Garth Brooks Brings His Tour to The Drive-In
Oh man, we hope this comes to the Hudson Valley.
On Thursday, June 11th, Garth Brooks went on Good Morning America and announced that he's not letting the COVID-19 pandemic keep him from touring. Garth announced that he will be hosting a concert event at 300 drive-in theaters across the United States.
Unfortunately, it looks like he won't physically be at the theater but the concert event will be streamed on June 27th at several drive-in locations.
Tickets will go on sale on June 19th and will cost $100 per vehicle.
We've seen drive-In in the Hudson Valley soar in popularity due to all movie theaters and entertainment close down due to the Coronavirus.
Luckily for us, and Garth Brooks, we have a handful of drive-in options we hope will be a stop for this tour.
Now, there's no word yet on where this Garth Brooks concert even will be playing in New York. However, here are the list of drive-ins we have the Hudson Valley:
Overlook Drive-In, Poughkeepsie
Hyde Park Drive-In, Hyde Park
Warwick Drive-in, Warwick
Fair Oaks Drive-In, Middletown
Four Brothers Drive-In, Amenia
So Garth Brooks, if you're reading this for some reason, please bring your wonderful concert event to the Hudson Valley.
Would you pay $100 to see a Garth Brooks concert at the drive-in even if he isn't physically there? I guess it would all depend on how many people you can fit into your car or SUV.
At this point, I think we're all itching to get our hands on any form of entertainment we can.
Let us know if you'll be attending one of the 300 drive-in Garth Brooks concerts.
