Well, it looks like we'll be getting some type of country concert in the Hudson Valley this summer.

Thanks to COVID-19 Bethel has canceled all of their shows, the TrailBlazer Festival was canceled and all of our favorite Fair's (where we get to see some of our favorite country artists at the Grandstand Stage) are not happening this year.

However, Garth Brooks wasn't going to let a little pandemic to keep him away from the fans.

Last week, Garth announced on Good Morning America that he would be playing a live show on June 27th at 300 Drive-In theaters across the nation.

Of course, that piqued our interest because the Hudson Valley is home to a handful of Drive-In locations. And also, why not come to the Hudson Valley? We're great!

I digress.

After a little bit of research, it does look like a few Hudson Valley locations are on Garth's list.

Universe.Com shows that the Garth Brooks concert will be streamed at Warwick Drive-In and Fair Oaks Drive-In in Middletown.

As we said, we have several Drive-In theater options, but as of right now those are the only two selections in the Hudson Valley.

If you'd like to travel a bit for the show to give you a real summer concert feeling, a little road trip, you can check out the show in Scranton, PA or in Malta.

These Drive-In shows will obviously follow CDC guidelines to keep concertgoers safe and to avoid the spread of the Coronavirus. Staff will be wearing PPE, cars will be spaced according to social distancing standards, bathrooms will be monitored and concertgoers are being asked to have hand sanitizer and masks available in their vehicle.

Tickets go on sale on June 19th and will run you $100 each. Garth Brooks Live will be shown on June 27th from 8:30pm to 10:30pm.
