If your kids play the game Fortnite, this might help you understand what they are talking about.

I know that we may be a little late to the party but over the course of the last few months both of my younger kids, Jackson and Julianna have started to play the super popular video game Fortnite and I'm kinda lost trying to understand what they are talking about.

If you don't know what Fortnite is, it's an online video game that has a few different ways to play. It was explained to me as you run around a map shooting other players, all while trying to be the last player left in the game.

Over the weekend my kids were having a conversation about the game and I swear what they were saying was like listening to kids talking a different language. If you don't play the game, you know exactly what I'm talking about.

All I hear is, skins this and V bucks that and battle bus here and back bling there. NO CLUE WHAT THEY ARE SAYING!!! So we decided to do our best to define some of the terms that are heard when people are talking about Fortnite.

These definitions were called into to us on the radio, so if we are off a little bit, we apologize in advance. Here we go....

Skins- Dress up for the characters you play the game with.

Back Bling- like a back pack that makes your character look cooler.

Emote- dances that characters can do in the game.

Knock'd- When you are almost killed in the game.

Battle Bus- air bus that is flying in the sky, hanging from a hot air balloon that drops players into the map to play the game.

Glider- When you drop into the beginning of the game, you use this to glide onto the ground or into the water.

Battle Pass- what you can purchase to enhance game play.

Those are the definitions that we have so far. Did we miss any that you might have heard your kids say that we can get defined? Call or text us through the Wolf mobile app and we will update this article with any updates we get.
