Ever Lock Yourself Out?
I think everyone has a story, how about you?
We got talking on the Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess Show Friday about how Jess locked herself out of her house and car the other day as she was rushing to get to an appointment. Yes that is one of the worst things that can happen, especially if your rushing. Good thing Jess is a planner, all she had to do was call her neighbor, who is a good friend and grab her spare key from her and the problem was solved. That is never the case for me.
Anytime I have ever locked myself out of anything I have always had to go to extremes to get back in. I remember back like 7 or 8 years ago, I went to get my daughter Julianna from the school bus stop one day and for some reason when I left the house the front door was locked so when we got back to the house we couldn't get back in.
So after trying every other door in the house, I decided to use my daughter to break into the house. I went to the downstairs bathroom window, which was one of those really small windows that no matter how hard I tried, there was no way I was fitting through. Anyway I took the screen out and wedge my little girl threw the window and after a few minutes, she saved the day by unlocking the front door.
If you have ever locked your self out, how did you get back in? Here are a few text messages we got today through the Wolf mobile App,
Dungeree Dill wrote, "Hi CJ and Jess I locked myself out of my house once but, I was on the balcony, and no one was home. There was only one window that was quite high. I ended up having to stand on a chair, poke a whole in the screen to get it off and then open the window, which fortunately was not locked. I was able to climb in but I had to step on my printer which broke."
Sabrina wrote, "Locked myself out at 2:30 in the morning while walking the dog... I had to grab my ice scraper out of my car to be able to reach the bedroom window. Banged on the window with the ice scraper and shined my cell phone flashlight in it until I woke up my husband to let me in. It took a good half hour for him to wake up and let me back in."
How about you?
