Even though most of us are still on Pause it is important that we realize some other things never stop. One of them is the need for blood donations. It may seem like a weird thing to be asking for right now when we aren't even supposed to be even hugging our loved ones but as I mentioned some things don't go on pause.

I am confident that the organizers of local blood drives are taking every precaution to keep you and themselves safe. Obviously, it goes without saying if you think you are sick don't donate. But if you are able to donate please do at a blood drive near you.

The Red Cross can get you in touch with a blood donation sight near you. Now more than ever it is important for healthy people to donate. It is also important that you plan ahead and register for a blood drive in advance.  If you have time this week the Paramount of the Hudson Valley in Peekskill is holding an emergency blood drive on Thursday May 21st from 10 AM to 3 PM.

If getting to Peekskill this Thursday isn't practical then please contact the Red Cross to find a blood Drive closer to you. You can Call them at 1-800-RED-CROSS (1-800-733-2767) or go to redcrossblood.org there is also a Blood Donor App.

Listen to Paty Quyn weekday afternoons from 3PM to 7PM on The Wolf. Stream us live through the website, Alexa-enabled device, Google Home or The Wolf mobile app.
