This is such a great idea and really easy to do.

If you are anything like me and have young kids at home, you most likely have a whole container full of left over Legos from past Lego projects. Some of mine are left overs, lol, others are older Lego builds that have been taken apart over time and I can't find the instructions to rebuild them, so this is definitely something I'm going to do.

According to SimpleMost, the Lego company has announced that they are starting something called Lego Replay were we can donate used Legos to kids in need. They are asking that we box up any of the Lego bricks that you aren't using anymore and send them to the company.

Once they receive the Legos, they will send them off to a bunch of nonprofit groups including, Teach for America and the Boys and Girls Club of Boston.

Maybe this weekend make plans to round up all you Lego bricks, box them up and don't worry about separating them by size or color or anything, you can even mix and match Lego bricks and Duplo blocks(the larger ones for little kids).

Seal up the box and then go to GiveBackBox to print your free shipping label and attach the label to the box and simply drop it off at your local shipping office. If you would like a donation receipt for tax purposes you can print one out online as well.
