If you grew up in the '90s chance are you, your sister or your friends had this toy laying around. It looks like if you kept them in good shape they could be worth big money.

Polly Pockets came on to the toy scene back in 1989 and took the world by storm. According to HouseBeautiful.com, they were created by a man named Chris Wiggs for his daughter Katie.

For those of you who don't know, Polly Pockets are small dolls and dollhouses. The Polly Pocket itself stands at about one inch high. While they were extremely popular back in the '90s, they are still being made today.

With all of that being said, it's being reported that your old Polly Pockets could be worth some big bucks.

Research from House Beautiful shows that a "pink Polly Pocket Princess Polly Travel Clock from 1993 is on sale for $1,800 AUD." Which translates to $1,200 in the US.

While not all Polly Pockets are worth that much, people are still willing to pay for the classic toy. There are a pair of vintage Polly Pocket earrings going for $55 AUD.

Head into the attic and dust off those toys and who knows you may end up with some extra money in your pocket.
