DIY Tie Dye Easter Eggs

Easter is coming up this Sunday and one of my favorite Easter activities is coloring eggs. Yes, I know. I'm a twentysomething  and I enjoy coloring eggs, I'm a child at heart what can I say? Anyhow, I consider myself pretty well versed in dipping eggs in dye and switching it up and mixing colors together to create a masterpiece.

However, I was reading an article in the Poughkeepsie Journal about using shaving cream to mix different colors together to get an authentic Tie Dye effect. It's super simple and you avoid that lovely vinegar smell.

All you need is:

Hard Boiled Eggs
Shaving Cream
Liquid Food Coloring
Baking pan
