What’s April the Giraffe Up to Now?
So I am sitting here are work, checking on things going on around the planet, when I say, "Hey, What's April doing? I wonder how she is doing?"
For those who don't know, a few years ago (2017) I became obsessed with this giraffe named April, who the world was watching as she prepared for the birth of her offspring.
April has her home at the Animal Adventure Park, Harpursville, NY. She is in good health and spends her days, pretty much however she wants to. April can be viewed on her live webcam feed, via Youtube, with her son, Tajiri, so you can 'check on her too.'
The park was set to begin its 8th season and open to the public on May 1, 2020, but with NY still on Pause, that date has been delayed indefinitely. As with any business at this time that relies on a certain amount of their funding from customer patronage, the Animal Adventure Park is asking for help, in the form of donations, to help offset their loss of operating income.
Know that April and her offspring are doing well and the park will be ready for you to visit when things begin to re-open.
