Get your drinking boots on. You can be drinking ice cold Coors Light for free.

All because of a little smack talk.

Marketing Dive is reporting that Coors Light is installing "smart taps" in select bars around the United States. These "smart taps" will be monitoring social media and broadcast feeds to see if Bud Light is generating negative Coors Light information.

If and when Bud Light puts forward negative Coors info the "smart tap" will glow. When the "smart tap" glows the next round of Coors is on the house.

You may remember back in February during the Super Bowl, Bud Light ran a commercial that alleged that Coors and Miller Lite use corn syrup in their recipes.

According to Marketing Dive that a recent survey showed that "80% of premium light drinkers would rather enjoy a beer than continue to worry about the ingredients in it."

The "smart taps" will make their debut on Friday, March 22nd at several bars in cities across the US. New York  being one of the selected states. No word yet on what bars the Coors Light "smart tap" will be stationed, but we're crossing our fingers for at least one Hudson Valley location.
