CJ and Jess Taste Test the New Peep Flavored Coffee

We take our coffee very seriously here at the Wakin' up with CJ and Jess Show. So when there's a new flavor in town, we go out of our way to research and taste test.

With that being said, I don't think either one of us was excited for this particular tasting.

Last week Dunkin announced that they would be releasing a Peep flavored coffee and doughnut on April 1st. Some of you are thinking April Fools Day joke, but this is no laughing matter. Dunkin was inspired by the marshmallow treat just in time for Easter.

We posted the announcement on our Facebook page and there were some strong feelings in the comment section. Personally I'm not a fan of Peeps. Love marshmallows, hate Peeps. Something about the texture bugs me out.

Anyway, CJ and I decided to taste the new flavor so you don't have to. Here are our immediate reactions from Facebook live:

I think we got two different "Peep" styled coffees. To me it was just a light and VERY sweet coffee, CJ said he tasted the Peepness of it. 2 out of 2 would not necessarily recommend unless of course you have a sweet tooth and enjoy that kind of thing.

The Girl Scout Cookie flavors are way more enjoyable, but hey...to each their own. We love Dunkin either way.
