A Hudson Valley woman has been arrested and charged with stealing from her home health care clients.

Allison Arnold Delong, 38, of Chatham, New York was charged with Grand Larceny in the third-degree, a class D felony, following a lengthy investigation.

The investigation, which started in July 2015 revealed Delong, owner of Serenity Care, a private health care agency, stole personal identifying information from five of her clients resulting in a financial loss of $5,000, according to New York State Police.

Delong was arraigned in Town of Chatham Court and remanded to Columbia County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail, or $5,000 bond.
