Public health officials have announced a massive recall of organic carrots and baby carrots sold at grocery stores across the country after a possible E. coli outbreak that has already killed one person.

The Center for Disease Control (CDC) along with public health officials in several states have begun an investigation into a multistate outbreak of E. coli infections linked to multiple brands of recalled organic whole-bagged carrots and baby carrots sold by Grimmway Farms.
