Bigfoot Sighting in Dutchess County Debunked
There must be something in the air. Whatever it may be, its causing a creature to come out of the woodwork here in the Hudson Valley, allegedly.
Earlier in February, the Bigfoot Researchers of the Hudson Valley were looking into a reported Bigfoot sighting and track marks in Rhinebeck. The track was measured at 35 inches long, one of the biggest they've ever come across.
The Dutchess County area is booming with Bigfoot experiences. Over the weekend a couple in the Pine Plains area near Stissing Mountain shared a video, which is no longer available, of what they say were two Bigfoot creatures. The video showed two dark shapes near the edge of the water.
The Bigfoot Researchers of the HV were on it and headed out to scope the scene. After their investigation, the BFRHV team concluded that there wasn't enough evidence to confirm if it was a Bigfoot sighting. They say "Though they genuinely believe they observed a Sasquatch moving its head, it is hard to make out any movement in the shaky video. The surrounding area was full of dead trees and stumps. We can only conclude that it was a stump or fallen tree until we investigate further."
