The Trailside Museums and Zoo at Bear Mountain State Park has had a busy 2025 and it is not over yet. There are many events planned for what's left ogf this year and the next one coming up is a fan favorite. Every year the wildlife residents at the Bear Mountain Zoo look forward to this special weekend.

This Saturday is Boo at the Zoo from 11 Am to 3 PM. According to a post from the Trailside Museums and Zoo, Sylvia the Bobcat is predicting a purrrr-fect day for family and friends you ng and old. A varity of Fall and Halloween activites are planned.

Attendees will enjoy crafts and games that include learning to make leaf rubbings, decorating pumpkins, bat fishing, whatever that is and other fun activities. People who plan to attend Boo at the Zoo are invite to wear a "not-so-scary" Halloween costume if they wish.

Bear Mountain State Park Zoo Halloween Event

The weather looks great for Saturday in Orange and Rockland counties but if it does end up raining the plan with be to move the event to Sunday with a few less activites. Registration is nnot required for this event. People coming to Boo at the Zoo can park at Bear Mountain State Park for only $10 a vehicle. Admission to the Trailside Museums and Zoo is a donation suggestion of $1 per person.
