It looks like this will be the weekend of farmer's markets opening in the Hudson Valley. We may have missing a lot of our Hudson Valley Spring traditions but it is nice to see that the Farmer's Market won't be one of those thing that ended up on pause.

Earlier in the week I shared that Taste NY Todd Hill will open tomorrow from 2 PM to 6 PM for their first Friday of the season. Now along with others around the Valley we have conformation that the Pine Bush Farmers Market will open this weekend too.

Celebrating their 19th year, the Pine Bush Farmer's market will open on Saturday and plans to run through October 24th from 9 AM to 1 PM on Saturdays at 61 Main Street in Pine Bush. This particular farmer's Market I haven't gotten a chance to visit yet so once again it will be put on the local summer travel bucket list. The reason you go to a farmer's market is to enjoy local produce and products. From fruits and veggies to honey and jams, even soaps and plants are all better when you buy them straight from the farm.

If you can't get to Pine Bush on Saturday check with your local farmers market to see if they are opening. Chances are they will be this weekend. And if you don't have a farmer's market in your town then a visit to the local farm market will be just as fun and delicious.
