Hudson Valley Casting is looking for adventurous couples or actors to play a couple, who love the great outdoors and exploring nature in unique ways. According to the casting call, they are looking for:

Adventurous nonunion couples or individuals to make a couple for Orange County Tourism.

Couples must be open to the following adventurous activities:

Hiking
Kayaking
Hot Air Ballon Rides
Helicopter Rides

Shooting is scheduled for July 9th, 10th, and 12th with rain dates on July 17th and 18th.

Recently Filmed HV Horror Movie Gets Official Trailer

A very popular horror movie filmed its sequel in parts of the Hudson Valley at the beginning of the year. Remember that creepy movie Smile?

I'll admit I never saw it because I'm a big baby, but I do remember the promotion and the actors with the strange smiles on their faces behind home place during MLB games.

With that being said, the 2nd installment of the film began shot in parts of the Hudson Valley in early 2024. The official trailer is out now, but the Hudson Valley Film Commission shared the update on their social media accounts and explained how big productions like this mean opportunities and jobs for locals in the entertainment industry:
