A 91-year-old Hudson Valley man is trying to pay the bills this holiday season by selling Christmas trees out of his home. New Windsor resident Ellsworth Wayman, also known as "Sparky," makes just $10 per tree but appears to enjoy the work.

A recent Facebook post shared more than 2,800 times called attention to his situation after a slow day of Christmas tree sales despite Wayman being open all day. His venture eventually did catch the attention of the local news, so we're hoping business picks up for him.

Wayman is a World War II veteran and has been in business for several years. He also sells wreathes and hand makes the bows in the summer months so they're ready to go for fall.

If you'd like to get a tree from "Sparky" you can stop by 75 Blanch Ave in New Windsor, but you might want to get there before he sells out.
