Yogurt May Become the Official Snack of New York State

This is an outrage.

Business Insider released a list of the "Best Snack Food From Every State." Let me tell you, every other state showed up. For instance Alabama and their moon pies, Connecticut and their Frank Pepe Pizza, Ohio Buckeye candies and Tasty Cakes in Pennsylvania.

You had states like Alaska, Wyoming and Colorado that have jerky as their staple snacks. While Idaho (naturally), Louisianan, Michigan, Minnesota, Oregon and Texas are potato-oriented, whether is be fries, tots or some type of chip.

Then you have our great state of New York.

One would think that maybe an apple, hot dog, black and white cookie or hot pretzel, maybe even pizza would be New York's top snack.

Nope. According to Business Insider the best snack from New York is yogurt. That's right, yogurt. Sure, we guess yogurt can be fun with different flavors and toppings, but we have so many better snacks to choose from.

Business Insider reports that state legislators are actually close to making yogurt the official state snack.

We need to have a word with our state legislators about this.
