A soccer star, a Shark, and a baller walk into the Academy in Poughkeepsie... sounds like the opening to a corny joke when it's actually happening this March.

Local Entrepreneurs Come Together for a Live Podcast Event

Q29 Productions out of Dutchess County has put together a big event for local entrepreneurs to get together and hear stories of success at The Academy in Poughkeepsie. The event will bring local artists, photographers, business owners, and influencers alike, together in one room to share what moves they made to find success in their field.

Founder of Q29 Productions Bryce Eckwall shares with us that all proceeds of the event will stay local as well, Eckwall states:

Proceeds from the event are directly benefiting United Way of the Dutchess - Orange Region.

The event will be recorded for a live podcast and bring in some famous faces...

World Cup Champ, NBA Pro, and Famous Shark Stop in Poughkeepsie, NY

It looks like there will be a touch of glitz and glam to the live podcast event at The Academy. Eckwall shared that Ali Krieger (2-time World Cup Champion) Daymond John of Shark Tank, and Pine Plains native/professional basketball player Tyler Lydon will join the event as guests.

Daymond John is no stranger to the Hudson Valley, he's been spotted all over town supporting local businesses like The Pancake Factory and taking a stroll over the Walkway Over the Hudson. Eckwall and John formed a professional relationship this year and have been producing videos for social media with fantastic visuals and helpful information about being successful in business:

Women's soccer star Ali Krieger has been on her retirement tour over the last few months and Q29 Productions has been by her side through the journey.
