Volunteer Firefighter and EMT Honored as New Wolf Den Member

As The Wolf Den of Heroes closes out 2025 with its last inductee, we look forward to celebrating a first responder you know in the upcoming year.

Before we kick off another year celebrating our community's first responders, we have one more inductee to announce for this year.

Wolf Den Hero Named for December 2025

Each month, The Wolf teams up with Mid Hudson Pump and MHA of Dutchess County to select one of our area's first responders to be inducted into the Wolf Den of Heroes from among everyone who has been nominated to date. Sometimes, it is not just one person, but rather a whole team, that we put in the spotlight. This month, we will be honoring someone who serves her community in the roles of a firefighter and an EMT.

Congratulations to Heather Clark, who is a volunteer firefighter with the Olive Fire Department and also serves her community as a member of Olive First Aid. Heather was nominated for the Wolf Den of Heroes by Robert Clark.

As a volunteer firefighter with Olive Fire Department for the past 20 years and EMT supervisor for Olive First Aid Heather puts her town and even the surrounding communities first. Often times she will listen to the scanner and if she hears a call that may require her help she is ready to go when the tones drop.
