Honoring Popular School Resource Officer For Devoted Service to Students

The Wolf Den of Heroes continues for 2025, and we look forward to celebrating a first responder you know in the upcoming months. Nominate the first responder in your life today. Each month during the year, The Wolf teams up with Mid Hudson Pump and MHA of Dutchess County to select one of our area's first responders to be inducted into the Wolf Den of Heroes from among everyone who has been nominated to date. 

Meet the Wolf Den Hero Inductee for August 2025

A fellow officer nominated our Wolf Den Inductee for August. Officer Fulton of the Town of Marlborough Police Department shared with us why he felt Officer Kelly Aluisio deserved to be inducted into the Wolf Den of Heroes.

Office Aluisio is one of five School Resource Officers who work in the Marlboro School District. She is also a DARE officer, along with being a patrol officer for the Town of Marlborough.

Officer Kelly (as our kids call her around here) has a bubbly personality and unwavering support for her fellow officers. It's a breath of fresh air. She takes the time to get to really know everyone here in town, especially our students. She works very hard to support her own boys and deserves our support. (via Nomination Email).

Wolf Den Inductee for September is a School Resource Officer in Marlboro, NY

Jess from Wakin' Up with CJ and Jess got a chance to talk to "Officer Kelly" on The Wolf just in time before the new school year begins. She shared with Jess that she started with the Marlboro School District last November. When she's not in schools, she can often be found doing patrols on the roads.

She loves it when she sees the kids while she is on patrol, and they walk up to say hi because they know her from school. She enjoys being a school resource officer because she wants the kids to have someone they can talk to in law enforcement, and this job has allowed her to do that. She also admitted to being a kid at heart.
