Exciting Activities At Hudson Valley Firehouses the Next Few Weeks

As we get ready for Labor Day weekend, we just keep adding to the list of events that HUdosn Valley Firehouses are holding to help them raise money.

Pancake breakfast, a touch-a-truck event, and even a vendor & craft fair are all on the calendar for September. Come out and support your local firehouse. Help them help your community.

Firehouse Events in The Hudson Valley For September

Sunday, August 31, 2025 - The Kerhonkson Fire Company, at 333 Main Street in Kerhonkson, is holding a Chicken BBQ from 6 PM to 9 PM. Make sure to get tickets soon because the last Chicken BBQ sold out. Stop at the firehouse on Wednesday at 7 PM to get information and your tickets. You can also ask any member of the fire department.

Sunday, September 7th, 2025 - The Marlboro Firefighters invite you to join them for a delicious Pancake Breakfast hosted by Marlboro Hose Company No. 1 at the Marlboro firehouse, 14 Grand Street, Marlboro. Breakfast will be served from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The menu includes sausage, eggs, pancakes, coffee, tea, juices, and there will be a 50/50 raffle. You can tour the Marlboro firehouse and see all the fire equipment up close. Donations will be appreciated.

Washingtonville Fire Department Car Show

Sunday, September 7th, 2025 - The Washingtonville Fire Department is having its 2nd Annual Car, Bike, and Truck Show at Vern Allen Park, 200 East Main Street in Washingtonville, from 9 AM to 2 PM. The registration fee for a vehicle for this event is $15. Enjoy food vendors, they will be trophies, a 50/50, corn hole, and music by DJ Hot Rod.

Friday, September 12th, 2025 - Ulster County Hose Company #5 Ladies Auxiliary Spaghetti & Meatball Dinners to go, which you pick up at the firehouse at 830 Ulster Avenue in Kingston between 4 PM and 7 PM. They will do the cooking, all you have to do is enjoy your dinner. IMPORTANT - Tickets must be purchased by September 4th. Dinners include salad with Italian dressing and butter rolls $10 each. In addition, baked goods will be available for purchase for dessert.

Port Ewen Volunteer Fire Department Vendor & Craft Fair

Saturday, September 20th, 2025 - The Port Ewen Volunteer Fire Department with be holding a Vendor and Craft Fair from 9 AM to 4 PM. Join them at the Firehouse at 129 Legion Court in Port Ewen for a fulfilling day of shopping with amazing local vendors. Vendor space is full, so plan to come and show.

Saturday, September 27th, 2025 - Putnam Lake Fire Department is holding A First Annual Touch A Truck and Fire Safety Event. Join them from 10 AM to 3 PM at Green Chimneys, 400 Doansburg Road in Brewster. The event will be in the Otter Lot (by the Swamp). Come meet your local firefighter and see the truck at this exciting family fun day filled with trucks and important fire tips.
