Raise your hand if you have already promised yourself that when it's 95 degrees out with unbearable humidity you won't complain but instead be grateful that you don't have to shovel heat and humidity. Thanks to Punxatawney Phil we have six more weeks of winter, and this is one of them.

The National Weather Service has issued a Winter Storm Watch for the entire Hudson Valley from Wednesday morning through Wednesday evening. With this storm system, we could see 4 to 8 inches of mixed precipitation along with ice accumulations.

With this kind of wintry mix, we need to expect that travel conditions will be difficult, particularly in the afternoon and evening commute. In addition, visibility will be reduced at times throughout the day.

Please exercise caution if you have to go out if you don't need to go anywhere, stay off the roads. Should there be any closings, cancellations, or delays know that we will have all the information you need in our Storm Center.
