I guess it's officially time to get the snow tires put on my car.

If you haven't heard, the Hudson Valley is expecting some snow over the next few days. The National Weather service is reporting that the Hudson Valley will see a dusting to 2 inches of snow on Thursday afternoon. Then, Thursday night 1 to 3 inches possible.

Winter isn't officially here yet, but that's not stopping the snow.

With that being said, parking rules in the Hudson Valley are about to start changing. One Hudson Valley town is putting their winter parking rules into place.

The Ulster County Police Department posted a press release to their Facebook page notifying residents of the change. The press release states reminding those living in the Town of Ulster that there are  "overnight parking regulations prohibiting parking on all streets during snowstorms and in between the hours of 2am to 6am from Nov 15 thru April 1."

Vehicles that violate these rules will be "towed away at the owners expense."
