If you've been on social media, whether it be Facebook, Instagram or Twitter, you may have seen an influx of alien and UFO content.

There's a bizarre reason behind it. Someone created an event on Facebook called "Storm Area 51, They Can't Stop All of Us." The event was made to find the aliens being hidden at Area 51. The events description states "Lets see them, aliens."

Naturally, it went viral and over 1.6 million people responded saying they were going.

It's 2019, we wouldn't expect anything less.

However, as it gained more traction the Air Force (possible Space Force?) decided to release a statement just in case people actually showed up. They told NPR "The U.S. Air Force is aware of the Facebook event encouraging people to 'Storm Area 51." Then they politely added, "Any attempt to illegally access the area is highly discouraged."

So to save you a possible fine or jail time, we reached out to the team over at the Pine Bush UFO and Paranormal Museum. The museum's director, named Lance, told us that things like the Wilson leaks and President Trump's recent interview about the unidentified flying object the Navy saw, make UFOS and aliens more common. Lance also told us that Pine Bush is considered the second "Area 51."

Lance also brought up a great point when it came to comparing Area 51 and Pine Bush. He says "There's always been the issue of what could potentially be military" and what could be a UFO.

So don't waste your time or money on a trip to Nevada to maybe see a UFO, that is probably just a military plane. Head to Pine Bush, get some food at the Cup and Saucer and look up. You'll probably find something.
