Why Rhinebeck Will Smell So Good Saturday

This Saturday is Beer, Bourbon and Bacon at the Dutchess County Fairgrounds so the entire town of Rhinebeck will smell so good. You can still buy tickets to this amazingly yummy event. VIP tickets are limited so I suggest you get them right now. It is a full afternoon of live music, refreshing beers (some exclusive to this event), smooth sipping bourbons and of course everything "Bacon". Bacon food items, bacon themed items and bacon scented items. If it is about bacon it is at this event.

Beer, Bourbon and Bacon is from 2pm to 6pm this Saturday but if you get VIP tickets you can get in 1 hour earlier. VIP's will be admitted at 1pm. The extra hour is really worth the money it costs to upgrade your ticket to VIP status. My favorite thing wrapped in bacon has always been big sea scallops.

On a more personal bacon note I have been a bacon fan most of my life. My Aunt Doris in Indiana can make bacon in a cast iron pan that will make you think you have never actually had real bacon until you have tasted hers. She is the keeper of my Grandma's German Potato Salad recipe that must be made with bacon and bacon fat. And Aunt Doris' white cream gravy is more bacon fat then flour and is always plate licking good.
