All weekend I was in my apartment packing and cleaning. I'm moving to a different complex 5 minutes from where I am now, but this process is always the worst.

I've gone through every single drawer and got rid of all the things I don't need or have no use for. On Sunday it was time to tackle my closet. In the process of sorting the things I was keeping and things I was donating, I came across some treasures.

I found my old high school basketball sweatshirts. They have to be at least 15 years old, missing strings and with the slit around the collar.

It took me a solid hour to decide what I was going to do with them. At the end of the day, they brought back so many great memories that I couldn't just throw them away. Those were worn before and after every single game. Win or lose, those sweatshirts definitely saw the blood, sweat and tears.

So, they are freshly washed and ready to be worn during a chilly night here in the Hudson Valley.

Am I weird for keeping them? I put up a little poll on my Instagram story and 87% of poll takers said I should keep them, so I have a feeling there has to be others out there.

Do you have an article of clothing that you just can't get rid of? Are there memories attached to it? Let us know!
