I do some DJ'ing on the side for some extra cash but mostly because I love music and entertaining and watching them dance and have fun.

Well, recently I've been doing some work as a house DJ in a restaurant/club in PA, down by the Poconos on Saturday nights and I've experienced something that I never really had happen before.

I won't bore you with the details but I was working there last night for an event and the boss was upset because something involving the house sound system wasn't up and running.  Keep in mind that I never was told anything about it, so I had the bar manager show me how to make it work, etc.

She approached me and said "it's important for me to have that working."  I acknowledged that and mentioned how I didn't know anything about it but would take care of it in the future to make sure it doesn't happen again.

She again said, "it's important for me to have that working".   I decided that maybe I should just apologize and move on so, I just said, "ok.  I'm sorry.  I'll make sure it's done next time."

I figured, I apologized.  It really wasn't my fault but I was the bigger person and it would be over right?  Nope.

After my apology, she just walked away.

Fast forward about 2 hours and she comes up to me and tells me that she is glad they are working and that she likes them working every night.

I couldn't help myself and said, "that horse is dead.  let's move on."

She walked away.

This Saturday should prove to be interesting.

Did I handle it wrong?
