What’s Your Go-To Ice Cream Truck Pick?

It's officially summertime in the Hudson Valley.

Not that I needed the insane heat and humidity to tell me that, but I did see an ice cream truck driving around my neighborhood so that solidified it for me.

I also saw a story the other day about country superstar Miranda Lambert. Now, Miranda is a Texas girl and she married an NYPD cop who I believe is from Long Island. Miranda shared on social media that while in New York recently, she had her first New York City ice cream truck experience.

I don't know about you, but when I hear NYC ice cream truck I immediately think Mr. Softee. And when you get Mr. Softee, you have to get a soft served cone with some kind of sprinkles. However, Miranda got her self, wait for it...

A snowcone.

I have never been so appalled by something Miranda has done. What in the world was she thinking!?

Even if it's one of those trucks without a soft served option, snow cones are a last resort.

Personally, I'm a big fan of the Toasted Almond or Strawberry Shortcake pops. CJ says Chaco Taco. And I know a lot of my friends loved the WWF wrestler themed ice cream sandwiches.
