Is there something that your family eats on Thanksgiving that most people probably don't?

As most of us get ready to sit down for a great Thanksgiving meal, some of the foods that are on Hudson Valley tables could seem a little weird to some. I know that when I was young one of the things that my grandma would always make on Thanksgiving was kielbasa and pierogies. WHY? I still have no idea but I have to tell you, I SOOOO miss them every year.

Jess said that her family always has some sort of Italian dish ready to go on Thanksgiving. This year she showed me the menu that her dad sent her and it included, eggplant rollatini, rice balls, sausage and more, all to be followed by turkey with all the fixings. DAMN, I want to go to Jess' house. LOL!
