April is here, it's the beginning of so many things, fishing season, outdoor art shows, farm tours, and more. Here's a few ideas for this weekend to go out and have some fun at with your family and friends.
Saturday, April 2; 10-4: 21st Biennial Needle Art Exhibit at Locust Grove, presented by The SkyllKill Needlework Chapter of The Embroiderers' Guild of America, Inc. Hudson Valley Chapter. See over 200 pieces of hand-done needle art including embroidery, beading, quilting and much more. Free demonstrations and talks at 11 am and 2:30 pm, admission is free.

Saturday, April; 9-2:30: Season Opener at the Catskill Fly Fishing Center & Museum. There will be a First Cast of the 2016 season at the DEC pull-off, just upstream of the Center, all members are welcome. Talks, demonstrations, book signings, activities for the kids, food, and more. Don't miss it.

Saturday, April 2; 5- 8 pm: Celebrate First Saturday Arts in Kingston Enjoy gallery receptions, live music, open studio tours, theatrical performances, historical reenactments, arts & cultural activities and more.

Saturday, April 2; 9-3: Rabbit Fun Day at the Education and 4*H Park on Finchville Turnpike in Otisville. Who doesn't love a cute and cuddly bunny! Come spend a fun day learning all there is to know about 4-H, cavies and rabbits. Free event for kids of all ages, hosted by the Orange County Hare Raisers.
