What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

It's Mother's Day weekend and there's lots going on in the Hudson Valley. I hope you get to spend some time with your Mom this weekend. Happy Mother's Day!

Saturday, May 9: 10-3. Mother's Day Plant sale at Kosuga Greenhouse at Orange County Arboretum in Montgomery. Bring Mom to this Annual Mother's Day Plant Sale and she'll have an opportunity to choose from an impressive selection of gorgeous plants including hanging baskets, annuals, sun and shade perennials, herbs, tomatoes and an expanded assortment of succulents. 845-615-3830.

Sunday, May 10: 3 pm. Special Concert: Cabaret For Mothers' Day at the Hyde Park Library Annex. Acclaimed cabaret artist, Broadway musical actor and singer-songwriter D.C. Andrews will be joined by pianist David Robison for a special Mothers' Day Event. Mr. Anderson has appeared on Broadway in 'Phantom of the Opera,' and was was cast in the role of 'Andre' in national touring company for that musical as well. Saturday, May 9: 9-2. Annual Shawangunk Garden Club Mother's Day Plant Sale at the corner of Canal Street and Route 209 at the gazebo in Ellenville.  They will be offering a variety of locally raised hanging and bedding plants.  Club members will be on hand to assist customers with choosing the proper plants and also to wrap their gifts.  Rain or shine!
