What’s Happening This Weekend in the Hudson Valley

Before the next snow storm, or flurry, happens get out of the house and do something fun this weekend with your family and friends. Here's a few ideas.

Saturday, January 31: 9:30 &11:30. Enjoy a pancake breakfast at the home of Crown Maple, Madava Farms, 47 McCourt Road, Dover Plains. Enjoy maple sugar pancakes, candied orange pancakes, chicken sausage, spinach & Gruyere frittata, maple bacon, fruit, toppings bar including Crown Maple syrup, Irving Farm coffee, Harney & Sons tea, Crown Maple hot chocolate, and orange juice. Cost is $20 per adult, $15 per child (12 and under)

Saturday, January 31: 11:00-3.  Wurtsboro Winterfest. Enjoy Winterfest 2015 with Ice Sculptures, a chili contest, treasure hunt, kid's crafts, a magician, storytelling, face painting, psychic readings and more.

Saturday, January 31: 10-4. Annual Wawarsing Winter Festival at Lippman Park, Rt 209 in Wawarsing. Food & craft vendors on a heated midway, bon fires, ice skating, broom ball, poker run, snowshoe hike, bike race on ice, DJ Vinny 'Boom Batz' Nigro, hay rides. Free admission! Sponsored by the Ellenville Wawarsing Youth Commission, Renegades Mountain Bike Club & The Lippman Park Committee.

Saturday, January 31: 9-5. Motorcycle Swap Meet at Resnick's Building, 21 Liberty Street in Newburgh. Motorcycle parts and accessories, food and beverage for sale! Held indoors rain or shine! Admission. Fri-Sat Jan 30-31. 845-569-9065.
