Saturday, November 4; 10-3: Dutchess Handmade Pop-Up Shop at Arts Mid-Hudson. See works from over 70 Hudson Valley artisans, just in time for holiday shopping. Choose from jewelry, textiles, glass, cards, ceramics, prints, paintings, and more. Arts Mid-Hudson on Rt 44 in Poughkeepsie. Saturday, November 4; 1-3: Free movie screenings every Saturday at E.B. Crawford Public Library in Monticello. The first Saturday of the month a teen movie will be shown (rated up to PG-13) and the other Saturdays will be family movies (rated up to PG). They are recent releases or films relevant to an upcoming holiday. Bring a friend and some snacks and settle in for a fun afternoon. Saturday, November 4; 8-4: God & Country Veterans' Living History Conference at the Best Western Hotel in Kingston. You can come and hear notable veterans from WWII to today, speak about their experiences. There will be a closing dinner as well as a choral performance by the Mendelssohn Club of Kingston. Admission is $30 an adult, veterans $25, and students 18 and under $15. Proceeds benefit the Ulster County Veterans Emergency Fund.
